FAQ
Churn rate is the percentage of customers who stop using your product or service within a given time period. Monthly churn rate = (customers lost / customers at start) × 100.
For B2B SaaS, monthly churn of 1–2% is considered good. B2C SaaS typically sees 3–8% monthly. Any churn above 10% monthly signals serious retention problems.
Annual churn rate = [1 - (1 - monthly churn rate / 100)^12] × 100. A 5% monthly churn compounds to approximately 46% annual churn.
