FAQ
CAC is the total cost of acquiring a new customer, calculated by dividing total sales and marketing spend by the number of new customers acquired in a given period.
Include all sales and marketing expenses: ad spend, salaries for sales/marketing teams, tools and software subscriptions, agency fees, and any other costs directly related to customer acquisition.
A good CAC depends heavily on your industry and average customer lifetime value. Generally, your Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) should be at least 3x your CAC to ensure a healthy return on acquisition investment.
